Purpose of this Site

This site is intended to provide information, photographs and video about iconic US Law Enforcement Officer, Delf "Jelly" Bryce.
          Bryce had a remarkable career. He served as an Oklahoma State Game Ranger, Oklahoma City Police Officer and Detective, and then in 1934, was recruited into the Federal Bureau of Investigation. 
          Many things set Bryce apart from his colleagues as we will see in our research. Two of the most striking were his phenomenal ability with firearms from an early age, and his ability to use those skills against armed opponents throughout his career.   

Design of the Site

As your host, I will do my best to make sure the site is easy to navigate and contains information you will find interesting and entertaining. Bryce was an interesting man, and led his life like a cavalry charge. Much like his better-known peers--Wyatt Earp comes immediately to mind--Bryce's life is worthy of examination, celebration, and understanding.
          This site will be under constant construction and revision as we move forward.
